HOGs in Saudi!

Last blog post: September 1, 2013.
I guess it's about time I put something on this blog!
This past Saturday we went to the 4th Annual Classic car show and Harley Davidson Rally on camp. It started with a parade of motorcycles driving through camp and staging at the cricket field parking lot, a huge open area.
I stood at the corner of the street with the kids so Adam could see all of the motorcycles riding in. So glad we didn't miss that, he was SO excited (I was too). It was so fun to see all of the different types of motorcycles and different kinds of bikers, kind of a break from the same ol' same ol' here.
The guys who came from other locations met at the Harley dealership in town and rode in together, then the guys who live on camp joined in once they got here. It's crazy that anyone would ride a motorcycle off-camp, but I guess it's safer if there is a pack of riders together.
I didn't get to see as many of the classic cars as I wanted to because it was a little hectic with the kids. I wanted to take some pics of the beautiful pickup trucks that were different colors.
I don't know where the people came from with the classic cars, and I don't know how they got them on camp, but I can't imagine they drove them on the city streets to get here.

When we left home in the morning, Hisham decided not to ride in the parade because he wasn't feeling well. As the motorcycles passed us, Adam was saying to his friend "dude, where's my dad?". So I had to tell him that daddy isn't coming because he didn't feel well. Then at the VERY end of the line, we hear "Hey Adam!" and Adam screams "DADDY!!!!! Look, there's my dad!". I get SO excited when he's happy and excited. That little outburst of his joy made my whole day.

Here they come!!!

"Dude!! That's my dad right there!"

I asked them if I could take their picture, and they didn't hesitate to say yes

But I was about to walk away and they all yelled that I HAD to take a picture of their backs

No, those were not real tattoos
